Sleepless Nights

Sleepless Nights. Now doesn’t that sound familiar, why it’s the name of our blog. As Naaila says it’s a bit cliché but hey I know for a fact that I get most of my posts done in the middle of the night. For a fact I am writing these exact words at 3:10. a.m. But are you having a Sleepless Night also?

Sleep is supposedly a necessity to human sanity, without it we would go insane or as scientist would have us believe. This topic is so popular we have even read about in the school newspaper the Stanner (for those that don’t understand, you weren’t in the school when the story was published). I have a few questions for you blog viewers. How many hours do you sleep per night, does it differ between the weekdays and weekends. I sleep about seven every day. Do you alter you circadian rhythm between weekends and weekdays (meaning, for all the slow people out their, do you sleep at different hours between weekends and weekdays)? Finally the most important question is what do you do when you sleep late or what do you think you would be doing if you slept late?

I would like for the blog audience to comment truthfully you answer but hey I have no way of finding out if you told the truth or lied. I just want a little information if requested I will answer the questions myself. I just want to know who is up as late as me. This also brings up another survey question. Do you like the name of the blog, if not what do you think it should be called. I finished at 3:20 a.m.

"for all the slow people out their" Out their what?

I usually fall asleep somewhere around 12-12:30, so weekdays I tend to get somewhere between six and seven hours of sleep, and weekends around nine.

I'll sometimes stay up until 3-ish, not specifically on weekend or weekday, just whenever I'm up doing anything that seems worth staying up past when I get tired.

I do sleep late on weekends sometimes though. If I have nothing to do and am rather comfortable, I'll just go back to sleep. I tend to wake up after seven hours so I do this most weekend days, but I can wake and go back to sleep to the point that I can sometimes total up around thirteen hours.

This all goes to hell in the summer, though. Without a constant schedule, I eventually end up going to sleep around 4/5 A.M. and waking up mid-to-late afternoon.

Weekend could range from 4 to 12
Summer has no pattern but I usually wake up around 11 AM - 1 PM

Who's using big words, Paulo? Neither of used words much bigger than "cliché" or "constant".

on weekends I can go to sleep as late as 8 in the morning if I am getting a damm good day playing Call of Duty 4. I can sleep for a full 24 hours if I really want to. I am pretty versatile.

Well, I gotta say that the name does not make any half-ass attempt at making sense, but it is catchy.
